Opening a Chinese take-out, the client wanted to position their brand as authentic modern day Chinese cuisine that could be served quickly and eaten on the go.


The mission:

To develop a brand identity and packaging design that depicted authentic modern Chinese takeout.


The process:

Targeting mostly youth who are always on the go and looking for new fast food ideas, the brand needed to communicate two factors; that it was Chinese and that it was prepared fast. The name Chop Chop, relating to chopsticks and meaning hurry, hurry in Cantonese, fit the bill perfectly.   


The identity:

Simplistic and modern in design while incorporating oriental design patterns to link it to its Chinese origins, the logo is also clear representation of a takeout destination. Swirls and patterns are to reflect the far eastern culture.
