Client: Bostageya Band

A young local band, looking to inspire Egyptian youth through their music and empowering messages.


The mission:

To develop a brand name and identity that would convey the band’s purpose of delivering positive messages to Egypt’s younger generation.


The process:

Appealing to this particular target audience meant that the brand had to be both hip and relevant. Especially at an age when being rebellious is aspirational, the brand needed reflect the same kind of rebel mindset, however in a different direction.


The identity:

Hand delivering personal messages, like the mailman of the past, the name Bostagaya, a slang Arabic term gave the brand an authentic flair. Stamped with a wax seal to indicate the importance of these messages, the overall identity is a combination of seriousness and contemporary humor.
